Cristian (we all called him Cristi) was Zvetlana's and Lucian's son and my (Andrei) cousin. He passed away about one year after his mother.

Together we spent many summer vacations with our grandparents (tataia & mamaia), at their houses in Iasi and/or Sucevita as well as the Black Sea litoral at 2 May. He studied at the National College of Informatics Tudor Vianu and then at the National University of Arts George Enescu in Iasi, where he studied plastic arts.

Cristi had chronic health problems. He died a week after a surgery in Iasi.

This picture was taken in a park in Bucharest on the occasion of the "goodbye" party at the departure of my (Andrei's) father Valeriu from Romania to Canada, at a time when we were both in high school.
